The Monash Kings and Queens tournament is coming up - this Sunday August 8th at Albert Park. This is just an email to let everyone know a little more information.
Firstly, games will start at 10am, and I will be reading out the teams for the first round at 9.50am so please be there. A light breakfast will be available at the fields from around 9am, so if you are interested, please feel free to arrive early. Please bring your own bowl/spoon/knife/plate as we will not have any available for you if you forget.
There will be 5 rounds, with games lasting 1 hour. The teams will change each round. The games will be mixed 4-3 male-female, with the exception of the first game after lunch which will be all male and all female format.
The winners of the day will be the male and female who win the most games. If there is a tie there will be a game to decide the winner

If you are not registered, there is a chance you will not be able to play.
We also need people to pay. The cost is $25. Please pay this money to the account by FRIDAY or there will be a late fee of $5 (unless otherwise organised) as I need to purchase food for people. The account details are:
There will be no training sessions during the mid-semester break. Lots of people are going away (me included) so I think it will be best if we postpone it for a few weeks. It will return in Semester 2 though.
League games are continuing on Monday nights, and we definately need people playing those (we had our first Div 3 win on Monday albeit with 8 people haha), so please email Jarod if you can play. He will be sending out the times each week.
We will also be running a tournament - targetting beginners and intermediates from all universities and around Victoria. It will be a great chance for you guys to play your level of ultimate, just with some different people. In a real comptetition :)

A reminder that due to Queen's Birthday there is no league for either team this Monday, June 14th.
There is however going to be casual pick up games organised at Albert Park. Games start at 7pm, please remember to bring a white shirt and a black shirt along with your usual gear.
Also, training is on this Sunday, June 13th at 3pm and will continue on Sundays from now on. Same fields as normal, directly behind the Monash Sport & Rec Centre
