MUF lost the grand final last night to MUCUS, 7-14. Congratulations and thanks go out to everyone who played with MUF, next season we're going to come out bigger and better to smash the competition and aim for an all Monash final!
The next season is currently fixtured to begin on Monday, May 11th. |

MUF had a huge win in its semi final last night over Intrepalicious. Final score was 15-7!
The game started out close as both teams traded the first few points. The still conditions made for fast flowing, error free Ultimate and both teams scored with ease. After Intrepalicious called a time-out with the scores at 6-5 (MUF leading), we used this opportunity to fire up our defence. It definitely worked as MUF came out playing some really solid D to force the turnover and converted these opportunities into goals.
After half-time MUF took the ascendency and used its large bench to rotate fresh players through. Intrepalicious ran out of puff in the second half and was unable to reproduce its first half form.
The grand final for Summer League takes places next Monday, April 20th. It kicks off at 8:30pm. There will be a FREE BBQ and drinks for sale so make sure you come on down to Albert Park (Fields 4,5,6) to cheer on MUF as it takes on MUCUS for the Summer League title! |

MUF's first training session will be on Sunday, May 3rd at 3pm. Location has been confirmed as Oval 1 at Monash Uni, Clayton campus. See the 'Training' page for a map if you aren't sure where Oval 1 is.
Everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of experience. We'll be starting with the basics so come down even if you've never thrown a disc before!

MUF v Intrepalicious

Albert Park - Fields 4,5,6
In round 7, MUF defeated Intrepalicious (14-10) and we're hoping to put on a repeat performance to book ourselves a place in the grand final!

Unfortunately MUF lost our last regular season clash to the Spanish Hysterical Interrogation Team. The score was close throughout but unfortunately we let our opponents get a few points ahead towards the end and when heavy rain started falling it slowed the scoring right down and we were unable to close the gap before running out of time.
However due to being a few games clear and with the top four going through to next week's semi-finals MUF are still guaranteed a place in the finals!
Our semi-final next Monday (April 13th) is at 7pm but we don't know who our opponent is yet but I'll update this as soon as we find out.
