Hey everyone!!
We would like to invite everyone (old members, current members, new members, anyone who played league with us, or trained with us) to the first ever (free) END OF YEAR MUF BBQ! It will be on Sunday, October 25th at 3pm at Monash Clayton. We will play a game of frisbee and then have a BBQ and some drinks. It will just be at the regualr training spot and then the BBQ area.
It would be really great if we could get everyone down there - we havent seen a lot of you for a while but it has been a great year for the club and we want to celebrate with everyone. You were all a part of it!!
I will have shirts available for all those who ordered them and also MUF discs for sale. I know its just before SWOTVAC but I really hope everyone can take the afternoon off to relax and play some frisbee!!
Please let me know if you will be attending so I know how many to cater for.

Congratulations to the whole team on an awesome effort at AUG, defeating Flinders Uni in the bronze medal playoff 12-10. Also congratulations to Seb Barr and Lucy Ross who made the Green & Gold squad for Ultimate and to Camby who was chosen as the coach of the G&G squad!
Thanks again to everyone on the team and to everyone who came to support us and especially to our coach, Camby, who made a massive difference in the way we went about our preparation and our on field discipline. I had a great time and am already looking forward to next year, bring on AUG 2010 in Perth!

MUF has been seeded 6th in Division 1. This is what our fixture for the first two days looks like (subject to last minute changes):
Day 1
Slot 1: Macquarie University (Field 2)
Slot 2: Sydney University (Field 1)
Slot 3: BYE
Slot 4: University of Technology, Sydney (Field 3)
Day 2
Slot 1: BYE
Slot 2: University of Queensland (Field 3)
Slot 3: Ballarat University (Field 1)

Monash has entered a team into the Elite Mixed division for the upcoming Spring season at Albert Park. The AUG team will get some valuable field time playing as a whole team against some very experienced opposition teams.
It is going to be a short 7 game season, ending on October 5th. We'll also miss September 28th as we'll be at AUG.
Full details and the fixture (once finalised) will be posted on the 'League' page |

Compulsory training for the AUG team starting at 12pm. We're using the Rugby Oval (location of the Kings & Queens Hat Tournament) this week.
We'll be running through the stuff we missed at training camp due to the weather. Afterwards we'll be playing some short practice matches against Cranky, Tribe and Melbourne Uni.
