Have had a few people ask whether trainings are being run during exams and the answer is yes. It's a great way to take a break from the studying and get some fresh air!
Same place as our usual trainings, at 3pm.
Hope to see everyone there! Lots to work on with only a little over two weeks to go before SUG |

Firstly congratulations go out to Alex Ong (King) and Nicky Smith (Queen) who were the eventual winners of the tournament. We also shouldn't forget the others who were tied on points but lost out in the tiebreaker (which will be improved for next year!); Pam, Kerry and Jack. Great work guys!
Also a huge congratulations and thanks to Ash for putting on an awesome tournament. Everything ran smoothly and hopefully everyone had a great time. We should probably thank the weather, beautiful sunshine, no wind to speak of and not a drop of rain in sight made the day much more enjoyable.
It was great to see quite a few of our new recruits out there at their first tournament, for some it was their first competitive games outside of training. No better way to learn how to play than to get thrown into an all day tournament! First of many tournaments to come hopefully. I tried to get around to everyone but it seemed like you guys learnt a lot and by the end of the day had made huge improvements. Well done!
Also a reminder that MUF will be hosting a trivia night on Sunday, July 5th. Lots of prizes on offer. $10 per person, tables of between 8-10. More details to come really soon and registrations will open as well.
Thanks again to everyone who played in the tournament and we hope you guys all had a good time.
As always, there were a few items of lost property picked up at the end of the day. If you lost something or left something behind on the day, shoot Ashleigh an email and she'll let you know if she has it. |

A reminder that the tournament this Sunday means there will be no training. Also, if you're playing the tournament - we're meeting on Oval 3 (which is different to our normal training area). See the map below for the exact location of Oval 3 if you're unsure.
Please also remember to bring a WHITE and a DARK (preferably black) shirt to wear
Also if have any special dietary requirements, please email Ashleigh (allergies, vegetarians and vegans, etc).
That should be it, hope to see everyone on Sunday!

Just to let everyone who is playing SUG and is interested in AUG know, training this Sunday, June 7th will be held at Monash, Clayton. It'll run as usual from 3pm until roughly 5pm.
A reminder that this and all sessions from here on in are compulsory for those who wish to be eligible for selection for AUG.
For those players that have played with MUF before and still have outstanding debts, please get your owing balance back to $0 ASAP. The club has just paid two teams worth of league fees for the current Winter Season and only SEVEN players have paid their league fees. To those that have already discussed their situation with the Committee and are exempt, disregard the previous.
Although a long way off yet, if you have outstanding debts with the club you will not be eligible for AUG selection until those debts are repaid.
The club bank account is:
Account Name: MONASH ULTIMATE FRISBEE BSB: 063408 Account Number: 10296895 |
